WE LOVE AMERICA SUNDAY - July 4 2010

July 4 2010 fell on a Sunday and we decided to celebrate during the 10:15 am service in the auditorium. Our program featured Magic Vinny Vetere as well as Pastor Dave's puppets. The finale featured a levitation of one of our workers. It was a great day to celebrate the freedom we have in this country as well as presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ!

MISSIONS CONVENTION 2010 Trip around the World - May 23, 2010

The Trip around the World was a huge success! Well over 100 kids attended as our imaginary airplane took off for Italy and Switzerland. Each passenger carried their passports and tickets proudly as they had to avoid turbulance, enjoyed their snacks and landed safely before they traveled to their destinations. It was a great way to kick-off our missions convention!

RESURRECTION CELEBRATION - April 4, 2010

Sunday, April 4, 2010 is a day when millions of churches around the world celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ. On ongoing tradition at SGT since 2003 has been to host a Resurrection Celebration for children ages 5 to grade 4 in our gym.
This year we had the privilege of hosting 3 at 8:30 am, 10:15 am & 12:15 pm. 2 puppet characters made their debut at this incredible event...Tiki the Toucan, a new ventriloquist figure by Pastor Dave and Scriptureman, a new puppet who was inside a new puppet stage on wheels! There were also 2 object lessons taught by various leaders and a bible lesson. The event ended with a craft the kids made to remember spring and the new life they have in Jesus Christ.

DO YOU KNOW THE ANSWER - March 21, 2010

For our second year, Kidz for Christ hosted our ever popular Game Show "Do you Know the Answer" featuring our host, Wade Winalot. Our kids were quizzed on lessons they learned from February 21, 28 & March 7. Our games included the "Snake Can Game", Wheel of Questions", "3 Boxes" and "Fill in the Blank." It was nearly impossible to stump these kids! They all did such a great job when it comes to knowing all the answers.
Be looking for some new game shows this summer at SGT!!

CHILDREN'S WEEK OF PRAYER - January 10-15, 2010

It was the start of a new year, a new decade and hey, what better way to start then with prayer! On Sunday & Tuesday evenings, our kids prayer walked the entire church and school grounds. Every classroom, office and building was covered in prayer and each SCS teacher was extremely appreciative. On Wednesday evening our kids prayed for their schools. On Thursday we lifted up four missionaries we support (The Blacks in Nigeria, The Bracketts in Malaysia, The Doty's in Indonesia and Lee Anne Risk in Mexico). We concluded our awesome week as we gathered and prayed for our country and government. It was a busy yet productive week and we thank God that our kids were blessed to lift each other as well as others they do not know in prayer!

FALL FUN FEST 2009 - October 31, 2009

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon outside but inside of the Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle Fellowship Center, you could feel the enthusiasm and excitement of every child who came to our 18th annual Fall Fun Fest. With our newly dedicated building expansion available for our event, we we able to add more games and give Moms, Dads, children and guests more breathing room. We had inflates available for the children, face painting, carnival games, God's little princess (where girls could get their nails done and make a princess crown) as well as food for sale and popcorn, caramel apples and cotton candy.
The whole afternoon was wrapped up with a puppet musical GPS that was presented in the Auditorium. Thanks to everyone who helped out as well as everyone who brought their children to this great event.
